Cellar building
Before we owned a wine shop, we were collectors. Rather than just stocking a cellar with trophies, we have an intentional, specific approach to collecting that balances three elements:
Everyday bottles that overdeliver and can be opened any time with zero guilt
Special bottles for birthdays, holidays, Saturday nights that are ready to drink now. Not a 20 year commitment, a commitment that was made 20 years ago.
Investments in the future. Bottles available now that will be hard to get in the future, that you can patiently wait for.
Of note: all of these bottles, including the investments in the future, happen at a wide range of prices.
